SO, SO WORTH THE WAIT!!

In case you didn’t know, Shades of Magic is definitely one of my MOST favorite fantasy so naturally, I was really looking forward to this book. And guysss, the wait was so worth it because THIS IS AMAZING! This book is EVERYTHING I wanted and MORE ♥ This is one of those books that is SO GOOD it’s hard to review….. so bear with me while I try to find words? 😛

Plot wise, there’s no doubt this book was splendid. It picked up right where we left off on A Gathering of Shadows when Lila tried to go after Kell to White London. So yeah, we’re getting action since the first chapter and IT WAS INTENSE. I was already on edge from the start and stayed there until 5 chapters before the end. However, it wasn’t… as brutal as I feared it would be. Don’t get me wrong, it was VERY brutal with blood and deaths everywhere but I was kinda expecting something even more brutal. Here you go! ♣ Continue reading

Can’t 2017 Come Faster? Because I NEED to Read These Most Anticipated Books! <3

SPARKLING LETTERS BOOK BLOG- MOST ANTICIPATED BOOKS OF 2017.jpg

Okay, not true.

I don’t want 2017 to come faster. I mean, new year always comes with great expectation and I feel like I’m not ready for another set of expectations. Also, no matter how crappy this year has been for others, I still feel like this is one of the best year I’ve had so far. But let’s not get philosophical 😛 I’m here, as always, to talk about books ♥

In term of books, 2017 seems SO PROMISING! So many (hopefully) great books from my favorite authors will be released next year and I just can’t wait anymore! So here goes some of my most anticipated books for the first half of 2017 ♦ only for the first half because I’m linking this post with Top Ten Tuesday (though it’s obviously more than ten but who’s counting?) and most books released on the second half of 2017 don’t even have covers or specific release dates yet 😂 Continue reading
