My List of Disappointment : Books I Love LESS Than I Hoped I Would

SPARKLING LETTERS BOOK BLOG- TOP 10 TUESDAY BOOKS I LOVED LESS THAN I HOPED I WOULD.jpg

Hello everyone! ♥

It’s been a while since the last time I did a Top Ten Tuesday but this week topic just basically called to me! It’s Ten Books I Loved Less/More Than I Thought I Would. I’ve read 21 books this year but only two of them are 5 stars. This month I haven’t even rated a book 5 stars

Being let down so often inspired me to make a list of books I loved less than I hoped I would. It was a coincidence that this week topic is similar. True story, I swear! 😛 But BEWARE, I’ll be dragging a lot of people’s favorites. It’s okay for you to be upset with my choice, it’s okay if you disagree and want to discuss it, but there’s no need to be angry or fight over favorite books, alright? 😉 Anyway, it’s definitely more than 10. Here you go! Continue reading

Say Goodbye to 2016, My Best Reading Year So Far!

sparkling-letters-book-blog-say-goodbye-to-my-best-reading-year-so-far

Hello everyone! ♥

I can’t believe that 2016 will be over in 4 days! Is it just me or time really goes faster as we grow older? 😛 this has been such a roller coaster year, a lot of good as well as bad stuffs had happened to me, but more about that on my monthly recap. Today we’ll be talking about BOOKS, obviously.

2016 has been an awesome reading year for me. I read wayyy more than the past three years combined 😂 the thing is I was too busy to read during my university years that I only managed to finish 2-3 books each month. This year, however, was more laid back because I had no more credits to take and only had to work on my thesis. Now let’s take a look at my year in books! Continue reading

Can’t 2017 Come Faster? Because I NEED to Read These Most Anticipated Books! <3

SPARKLING LETTERS BOOK BLOG- MOST ANTICIPATED BOOKS OF 2017.jpg

Okay, not true.

I don’t want 2017 to come faster. I mean, new year always comes with great expectation and I feel like I’m not ready for another set of expectations. Also, no matter how crappy this year has been for others, I still feel like this is one of the best year I’ve had so far. But let’s not get philosophical 😛 I’m here, as always, to talk about books ♥

In term of books, 2017 seems SO PROMISING! So many (hopefully) great books from my favorite authors will be released next year and I just can’t wait anymore! So here goes some of my most anticipated books for the first half of 2017 ♦ only for the first half because I’m linking this post with Top Ten Tuesday (though it’s obviously more than ten but who’s counting?) and most books released on the second half of 2017 don’t even have covers or specific release dates yet 😂 Continue reading

Books I Read Because of the HYPE (and totally live up to it)

TOP 10 TUESDAY- BOOKS I READ BECAUSE OF THE HYPE. SPARKLING LETTERS BOOK BLOG..jpg

Hello everyone! ♦

It’s been a while since I’ve been actually active on the blogosphere. I’ve been busy and haven’t had the time to reply comments or blog hop. My whole blog post schedules are a mess because I’ve been behind on drafting all the posts I have planned 😦 but I’m planning to blog hop and draft some posts today in case I don’t have the time to do it again 😀

Today’s post is something I’ve been planning for awhile… hyped books that totally live up to the hype and MORE! I’m also going to link this post to this week Top Ten Tuesday, Books You Read Because of Recommendation. I know I’m a day late for TTT, but whatever right? 😛 Continue reading

It’s been a while since the last time I did a TTT post! The last couple topics are just too difficult for me and I didn’t feel like doing them at all </3 but this week topic got me back in the game! 😀 Well to be fair, asking a bookworm to pick ALL TIME FAVORITES is like asking a mom to pick a favorite child 😛 It’s a cruel thing to do, but it is a pretty fun topic! I enjoy a lot of genres but fantasy is still and will always be my favorite. So today, I’ll list down my some of my all time favorite fantasy books! ♥ Continue reading

Captain of the guard! I luuuurve ♥♥ Palaces and courts are beautiful and they are also the home of secrets and manipulations and all the cunningness. That’s why today’s post would be about ten books set in the palace (or at least featured a palace in it) ♦ Continue reading
