Let’s Get to Know Me

Hello there, thank you for taking the time to visit my blog ♥

I am Puput, almost 30 this year. I’m a working woman, a wife, and a mother of a little daughter named Mika. I spend my days getting absorbed in life; from working & thinking about work, taking care of my daughter, spending quality time with my husband, and other things cluttering my head. I am too tired most of the days, but I managed to squeeze in some quality me time here & there: reading books, watching kdrama series, journaling & blogging, or just enjoying some of my favorite music.

Some facts about me

• I’m an eldest daughter born through a c-section: during my delivery, my front head was cut by surgical scalpel so I was bandaged right from the very moment I was born.
• I love books so much. My first book love was Doraemon & Detective Conan comics, then I started reading teen novel and finally Harry Potter was the series that made me fall in love with fantasy genre.
• I met my husband at work, and now we are still working in the same company.
• My head can never stay silent. I’m always thinking about anything, even during a yoga meditation session, I can’t fully relax and empty my mind.
• I have always wanted to be a writer. I have stopped trying for a while but lately I’m thinking of giving it another shot.
• My first kdrama was Descendants of the Sun and since then I became an avid kdrama fan ❤
• I can watch 16 episodes kdrama with 1,5 hours per episode but a 2-hours movie is too long for me
• I am very ambitious and achievement oriented, I always try to go extra miles which apparently makes some people resent me.

Sparkling Letters started out as a book blog that I created in 2020. It was my happy place to channel my passions, which are books, makeups, and well, life. It is intended for obsessed bookworms who love to over analyze those tiny elements in books, amateur makeup junkies, and basically anyone with an open mind and loves some honest opinions about books and life. Back then around 2 – 3 times a week.

New Sparkling Letters is a newer version of my blog, which I no longer just talk about books. I could no longer keep up with book trends and the latest releases so I cannot do book blog any more. I created another blog to talk about more general things like life, parenting, etc, but I have the new wordpress layout so I decided to just use Sparkling Letters, but with the new branding.
